The international review Cristianesimo nella storia (Christianity in history) is a quarterly founded in 1980, which publishes circa eight hundred pages annually: it aims to offer in its reviews, essays and comments, first hand research on all the diachronic and confessional range of the history of Christianity, exegesis and the history of theological debate. The review is directed by Giuseppe Ruggieri and the members of its current editorial board are Giuseppe Battelli, University of Trieste, Klaus Ganzer, University of Würzburg, Agustinus Gianto, Pontificial Biblical Institute, Rita Lizzi Testa, University of Perugia, Alberto Melloni, University of Modena-Reggio Emilia, Antonio Rigo, University of Venice, Jean-Marie Salamito, University of Paris IV-Sorbonne, Andrea Tilatti, University of Udine. The Secretariat of the redaction is held by Federico Ruozzi and at the direction participate all researchers of the Institute. One time annually the review dedicates to a monographic theme: in the last years it examined the origins of the biblical canon, the hermeneutical discussion at the Second Vatican Council, the martyrdom in the history of the monotheisms, the relation between synodality and liturgy.
